Is Mack Brown considered a top 10 college football coach?
A lot of people consider Mack Brown to be a good recruiter, but not a good play caller/head coach.

He won a championship, so I would think yes.
It’s hard, because if you are talking all time, Joe Pa, and Bowden are up there, if you are talking the last 5 years then probably not.
If my team needed to hire a coach, the list of ten guys would go as follows
Jim Tressel (5 top 5s since 2001 and a NC)
Urban Meyer(Championship, and creativity)
Les Miles(Very agressive)
Bob Stoops(Championship and many top 5s)
Carroll(a couple of AP championships, and great big game coach)
Saban(Not a fan of him personally, but a winner)
Mac Brown(Class guy and National champion)
Bo Pelini(Great young mind)
Gary Pinkel(Wins at Mizzou, for goodness sake)
Mark Dantonio(Won at Cincy, and will do great things at MSU)
