Large, brown longhorn beetle got into my apartment in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania. What was it?
It had a long, narrow body and no color markings: just brown. I killed it with bug spray. What was this beetle and could more of them be lurking in my apartment???
Well, you said it was a longhorn beetle. I couldn’t tell you much more than that without a picture.
Longhorns do not typically live indoors. This one probably got inside accidentally. It is possible that the beetle emerged from pupation from wood used in your house, but this is not likely.
