Can you have white crown molding when you have brown baseboard trim?
I want white crown molding in my kitchen, but the base trim is brown… will that look dumb? I have been trying to find a picture onling of how it would look, but I can’t find a picture example (maybe that’s a sign you shouldn’t do it?)
Absolutely you can have white crown molding and natural or dark floor trim. I don’t think it will look dumb at all, in fact I think it’s a very classic look. Most older homes have gorgeous natural woodwork and most ceilings are white. The crown molding should blend in with the ceiling.
