I have a slight case of rosacea, and I was wondering if anyone has used the cosmetic line “dermablend” for tha
-I have heard it might be a little heavy.
-I was actually wanting more of a powder. i HATE wearing MAKEUP ALL OVER my face, I’m just mainly looking for something that can just cover my pinkish/red cheeks.
-I dont have the bumpy rosacea, just the slight constant redness, so I guess something that’s not TOO thick… any suggestions?
Yes dermanblend is an excellent line for “coverage” whether it
be heavy coverage or light.
I think the fact that its a creme based thick in consistency makeup makes it ideal for roscenea.
However, you could use any creme base like
maybe Max Factors in a stick
or in a little compact with sponge.
cleanse your face and use moisturizer,
apply dots on your forhead, cheeks , and nose and chin.
lightly use the sponge to blend the color evenly.
you can blend blend blen with no line of demarcation.
blend toward your hairline and make sure your
colour matches your neck…..blend out the line
you can also use liquid makeup over that, again, apply a little at a time. this gives interesting shine and there are so many transluxcent shades to choose from
once you are blended, use a big brush with powder to seal
foundation. that helps it stay on longer
dermablend is an excellent foundation; also try merle norman cosmetics creme base, or lancomb.
but dermablend, if you use it properly is the best.
