7 Months pregnant and wondering if my hormones are causing my distress or should I look further?

I am 7 months pregnant and since my 6 month I have been out of whack. I was under the immpression that the hormones only took control over your emotions during the first trimester and beginning of the second. I never really expierenced loss of control over my emotions until now. I feel like I have gone into a depression. I have been alone this whole time because I am military and stationed far from my home and the baby’s father is in Iraq. Sometimes in the beginning of the pregnancy I would forget I was pregnant because I didn’t have really any of the symptoms. I just feel like I would have experienced something to do with my hormones before now. I find myself crying over the slightest confrontation (i.e. too much ice in my drink from burger king). I was wondering if there were any of you moms out there that lost control of your emotions this late in pregnancy. Any comments are appreciated. And I’m sorry if this question is a gramatical mess. I’m not in the mood to care.

I too my whole pregnancy was a wreck. I cried from the time I woke up to the time I went to sleep, I would even wake up and have a cry. I was 3 months when mine started and I didn’t stop until 4 weeks after my son was born. My husband was beside himself, he felt helpless that he could not help. I even asked the doctor what to do and they wanted to put me on an antidepressant, there was no way that I was going to do that being pregnant. So try this, take a walk at least once a day if possible, I did to take my mind off of things and it did help. Try and keep yourself as busy as you can. It will end soon. Just keep your head up and know that something very special is coming out of all this misery. Trust me I know first hand.
