Is it better to comb your hair with a brush or a comb?

Yesterday I had a hair appointment and i took notice that there were no hair brushes except round brushes in the whole salon only combs? Is it better to comb with combs and why?

Combs when its wet, because it wont break your hair, and a brush when it’s dry is what i usually do
