How can I prepare my AFRO hair for wig?
I can’t cornrow [I can do normal plaits/braids though], and I don’t have the finances to pay someone to do it.
It can’t fit into a ponytail … too thick
And when I try to put just a stocking cap on, it looks too puffy and hair always sticks out! When I put the wig on, I sware my head looks huge.
And I *DO NOT* want to use any heat or chemicals in my hair!

If you make rows in your head from front to back then section each row into four squares you’ll be able to plait your hair and join the end of each plait to the plait that follows it. Then you have the cornrow effect. If your hair is still too short for four plaits per row, increase the number of plaits per row.
