Pink color to kitty poo?
Just wondering if I should be worried that once in a while one of my kitty’s poo is a pink color. They are on a wet food diet … and a few times a week they do eat salmon which is pink in color in the can … so I’m wondering if maybe its just caused from that?
Vet is the one that told me to put all 4 cats on a wet food diet because one of them has mega colon and can not have dry food what so ever so I switched all 4 cats to wet food. They LOVE it. I asked him before if there was anything I should stay away from and he said, whatever they seem to like … feed them that. They love all the fish type ones … salmon, ocean whitefish etc etc. They also get beef and chicken and liver and stuff like that too but atleast once a day they get a fish type. Vet said that was fine. But I was just curious about the pink poo. I will def. call the vet too confer on that too. Thanks!
It’s most likely the salmon.
Unless it looks bloody and there are other symptoms of distress, theres nothing to worry about.
