Rex rabbit?
My daughter, has purchased a beautiful, black and velvet fur, rex rabbit. He’s a 3mth old and the size of a fully grown dutch rabbit. Do you know, of any good websites, of how big, he’ll grow to.
Not sure on size, but my Rex is the sweetest thing on four legs! What a beautiful, calm, loving and easy care animal to have. We aren’t breeders or anything, and I am not really sure if mine is a mini rex or regular one, but after two years, he is easily manageable and about five pounds probably. And that velvety fur is the softest stuff on the planet! There are lots of books at the library on rabbits, and it would be a good project for her to research for herself.
We did build him a larger house after he was full grown so he had room to run, and they love leash walks outside. His droppings are excellent fertilizer for your garden too, fully composted for flowers as soon as you clean the pen, and good rototilled into a garden bed in the spring.
