Using vintage scarves/ sashes as table runners?
I want to collect vintage scarves/cloths/sashes/etc and use them as a topper for my tables during the reception. of course they wouldn’t all match, but our whole wedding is a bit vintage and we’re not your typical couple. do you think this could work? i can’t really afford to rent table cloths, and the venue only provides plain white ones. i figure this could spice it up and add a little character…
i should’ve said i’m already am an avid thrift shopper.
and my tables are round.
Sure I think it will work! It might be very dramatic to have them color coordinate a bit, have one color the same throughout. Maybe even with the same background color. You could color coordinate one table, or the whole reception as you can.
But random could work too.
Sew some together for a runner.
