Help with my Coach purse?

I bought a Coach purse last night at a purse party (2 Chinese men were the sellers). Whether it’s real or fake I still spent $40-$50 on it which is more than I have ever spent on a purse! I’ve done research to try to figure this out. The women there said that they are real but they’re damaged/stolen, either way I don’t know. My purses’ serial number is NoA2G-2317 wrote just like that, no spaces. The C’s are double lined on the outside & the tips of the C’s touch & are lined almost center. The zipper doesn’t say anything which I read some will say YKK and some won’t say anything. It has COACH imprinted on front with LEATHERWARE 1941 underneath. The metal tag it came with was NOT imprinted, it was raised. The leather is very soft, doesn’t feel like cheap leather. The inside has the sewn in leather tag with the quality info & says that it’s made in China. The stitch/patchwork is done very nicely. BUT the threading is white, the lining is also signature & the bag that came with was tan.

If you can get to a Coach store or inspect the ones on their website, you should be able to tell if yours is real or fake. You say the leather is good quality, and that is a good sign it could be real. Ive seen fakes in China but on closer inspection it was obvious they were fakes. However it sounds like you are kind of suspicious of the sellers- does the purse look damaged to you? I doubt they are stolen; thats a little difficult to do due to the unique No. of each purse.
