A scarf is a piece of fabric worn on or near the head or around the neck for fashion, warmth, cleanliness, or for religious reasons. Moreover, the sophisticated students are probably the best examples for classic style. They wear square scarves with such finesse and confidence that they make seem like they have worn one every single day of their lives. All their clothes are neatly pressed and tucked to the smallest detail. Usually, you will see them wearing a coat and silk tie paired with a silk or wool accessory.

And lastly, there are the beatnik students who wear them simply because they want to express their bohemian way of life. Usually, they receive them as gifts from friends who sew or weave them and place a certain meaning to them as well. Basically, you will notice that the different cliques in universities have their own way of wearing this kind of accessory. At the same time, there are also various styles that appeal to the varying groups as well. Bottom line is that it has progressively become a favorite fashion item among university students.

This goes to show how far this accessory has come along. Nevertheless, there is no doubt it is making everyone look a lot more hip and chic.
