When oxyacetylene welding, why use a green lens over a smoke lens?
I understand that when gas welding with a gas other than acetylene the puddle is easier to see with green, but which is best when doing “standard” gas welding and brazing?
It really is just a matter of your own personal preference. Where I use to work a lot of the guys used the rose colored ones. I think it is a somewhat easier to see with the green, but I still just stick with the old standard. Of course I got an auto lens too.
