What happened to Bathsheba, the wife and queen of King David?
I have a biblical research paper to do and my class can’t seem to find out what happened to the Queen. We know what happened to King David in the end, but not what happened to Bathsheba. I’ve done research and I still can’t find anything. Does anyone have a answer, or a theory that might be good and can you please list the source as well? Thank-you.
Presumably she lived into old age and died. Since the bible records nothing either ill or bad around the circumstances of her death, we can assume that they were ordinary.
We do know that her son Solomon became king. So if she was still alive, she would have remained within the royal household.
