Ebay buyer wants partial refund?
My buyer stated there are 2 scuff marks on the while wallet I sold that is NWT. She found a listerine strip inside and said it’s obviously used. She wants a partial refund or she’ll give negative feedback. Should I give her the partial refund or refund the whole amount. She bought it for $9 when the retail price is $26.
Did you represent this as new and are the allegations true? If both are true then I’d just offer to provide a full refund if she return it. There are some buyers who will misrepresent the condition it was received in and threaten negative feedback just to get you to reduce price. I had it happen once and gave them the offer of a full refund/return and that seemed to solve it. They never returned it and I kept the money… I had just called their bluff.
