I have a 100% wool shawl how can I make it look better?

I was giving a wool shawl 3 years ago. I never wore it. I wish I would of taken better care of it. It’s been sitting in a drawer for that last 3 years. Now it looks like cats or dogs attacked it with there claws. The wool has gotten fuzzy all over. Any idea on what I could do to make it look new again?
